Looking After Your Soil
This section looks at how you can improve the physical characteristics of your soil by careful management, and by using soil improvers enhance the performance of your soil.

The specific treatment you need depend on what you want to grow and how much effort you are prepared to put in to change things.

You should also have some idea of the composition analysis of your soil, or at least identified what soil type it falls within. There are literally dozens of treatments to improve soil composition and it's worth time to choose the one that is best for you.

As well as improving the composition of your soil, you can use the buttons on the left to go to the pH & Acidity and Fertilisers sections, to find out how to make improvements in those areas.
